Student Poster Fair - Roots and Ruins: Christianity in the North

-

Location: Trafalgar Hall, Fischer Hall

A group of undergraduate students from the London Global Gateway recently went on a trip to Northumberland and Yorkshire, sponsored by the Nanovic Institute for European Studies, to explore the origins of Christianity in the north of England.  On their visits to Durham, Lindisfarne, and York, they learnt about monastic communities in Medieval times, and the Reformation, as well as the lives and works of St. Cuthbert and St. Bede.

As part of this project, the students produced posters to review their trip.  These will be presented on Wednesday, October 15 at a poster fair, open to London Global Gateway staff, faculty, and students.  The groups will be on hand to explain their work during the reception from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
