Careers Talk - International Aerospace Attorney

Notre Dame alumnus Ryan Costantini will be hosting a talk tomorrow, Tuesday November 4, at 12:15 p.m. in the Law Courtroom (second floor), about his career as an international aerospace attorney.
 
Mr Costantini is a 1999 (BA) and 2002 (JD) graduate of Notre Dame and spent the 2000-2001 academic year in the London Law Programme.  After graduation, he was an associate at Day Pitney in Stamford, CT and Dewey & LeBoeuf in Hartford, CT.  In 2006, Mr. Costantini joined the Pratt & Whitney division of United Technologies Corporation (UTC) as Associate Counsel, Commercial Engines & Global Services, Asia Pacific & China, where he provided legal support for sales pursuits and customer service issues involving airline customers in the Asia Pacific region and negotiated joint venture agreements for jet engine overhaul facilities in China and Turkey.  In 2011, Mr. Costantini was named Senior Attorney, International, Defense Systems & Services, for the Sikorsky Aircraft division of UTC.  In this role, Mr. Costantini is legal counsel for Sikorsky’s international military business, which involves the sale and support of BLACK HAWK and SEAHAWK helicopters to non-United States military and governmental customers.  Mr. Costantini has negotiated contracts in, amongst other places, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Colombia, Brazil, Poland, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.  In his spare time, Mr. Costantini coaches the middle and high school mock trial teams at the school where his wife teaches.
