St Joseph’s Hall is located adjacent to the main Abbey building, and is comprised of 16 en suite bedrooms. The residence hall sleeps up to 48 students, in a combination of bunk beds and sofa beds. Twelve bedrooms in St. Joseph's Hall sleep up to three residents, with one set of bunk beds and one sofa bed. There are two quad bedrooms, with two sets of bunk beds, and two staff rooms, with one set of bunk beds each. Desks are provided in each room, and all rooms feature views of the mountains and the lake. Bedrooms are en suite, with full WiFi connectivity. Residents access their bedrooms using electronic swipe cards. The swipe cards given to each resident will function for their specific bedroom, as well as the main door of Kylemore.

Learning Space

Kylemore Learning Space 1 A

The Kylemore Abbey Global Center features a large classroom that is technologically equipped to the highest standard, with high-speed WiFi, a large projection screen, a flat screen television for presentations, and a copier/scanner/printer. The classroom seats up to 50 people, and features a sound-proof barrier that can be utilized to make two classrooms of 25 people each. Kylemore offers a variety of layout options to facilitate lectures, roundtable discussions, meetings, and group work.

Social Space

St. Joseph's Hall features two communal areas that contain relaxation spaces as well as self-catering domestic kitchens for light meal preparation, which are available to students at all times. The common areas are technologically equipped to also be used as classroom space or common space for group course work, with full WiFi connectivity and digital presentation technology.
