International Studies

The mission of Study Abroad at the University of Notre Dame du Lac is to enable international learning and research experiences that enhance the academic, intercultural, and spiritual formation of our students, enrich their global and cultural awareness, and help to develop engaged citizens in our increasingly interconnected and interdependent world.

The University of Notre Dame offers more than 40 international study programs in over 20 nations: Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Russia, Senegal, South Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Uganda, and the United Kindom.  In addition to study abroad programs, there are many other opportunities abroad available to Notre Dame students.

International Studies is charged with ensuring that every participating study abroad student comes to understand his or her potential as a leader in a global world through exposure to international academics, research, and cultural engagement.
