NDI Faculty Research Funding

Global Collaboration Initiative (GCI) International Research Funding

The GCI awards several grants to fund initiatives in international research, scholarship, and collaboration with major foreign universities and research organizations. The purpose of this program is to allow faculty to work with colleagues at foreign partner research institutions in ways that promise to be sustainable beyond any one project, opening the door for future collaborations. We will begin receiving applications for the 2017-18 awards on August 1, 2016.

Luksburg Foundation Collaborative Grants Program (Collaboration with the Pontifical Catholic University, Chile)

Notre Dame International and the Kellogg Institute for International Studies are pleased to announce the Luksburg Foundation Collaborative Grants program.

Supported by a gift from the Luksburg Foundation to Notre Dame, the goal of this grant is to encourage the Notre Dame community to find new ways to collaborate with colleagues from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC) on research, exchanges, and conferences, and in particular to increase the flow of Notre Dame faculty and staff going to Santiago. Separately, the Luksburg Foundation has made a gift directly to PUC for their faculty and staff to come to Notre Dame.

Mexico City Global Center Collaboration Grants

Through the generous support of University benefactors, Notre Dame International is providing funding to build, sustain, and encourage academic and research collaboration (research projects, faculty and graduate student exchange, conferences, seminars, etc.) with leading universities in Mexico, especially Tec de Monterrey, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE), Panamericana, and Iberoamericana. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis and projects will be offered administrative and logistical support through the Notre Dame Mexico City Global Center.
