Director, Global Engagement Programs
As the Director of Global Engagement Programs, Amber oversees all aspects of incoming visiting student programs at Notre Dame International, including the exchange and American Semester Abroad Programs, pre-college programs for international high school students, undergraduate research programs (iSURE), short programs tailored for partner universities, etc. This portfolio of programs provides many alternative opportunities for international students to experience the renowned Notre Dame campus, culture, and academics. Amber also teaches the Intercultural Communications course to incoming visiting and exchange international students.
Amber joined Notre Dame International in 2015. She started her career in international education in 2009 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln while pursuing her M.A. degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Northeastern University. Amber is bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English.
