David Harrison is born and bred in Co. Galway and studied culinary arts in Galway city in 2012. Gaining experience in the local Hospitality industry, David moved on from Galway to Connemara in 2016 to work in Ballynahinch Castle Hotel as head pastry chef and later on as the junior sous chef. David also completed a software engineering program in web development at the Institute for Technology in Athlone
David joined the Kylemore team in spring of 2019 as the chef. Utilising his knowledge in local produce and resources, David creates menu's and dishes that give a taste of Connemara to all those who visit Kylemore.
