Catherine Wilson


Catherine Wilson was appointed advisor to the vice president and NDI's protocol officer in September 2017. As advisor, she serves as the chief of staff for the vice president and associate provost for internationalization, and leads project management of strategic NDI initiatives. As protocol officer, she works collaboratively with units across campus to develop strategic priorities for international visitors, coordinate and execute event management for distinguished international visitors to campus, as well as organize executive-level international delegations traveling from campus overseas. Wilson provides support to the vice president and associate provost on special projects, manages NDI donor stewardship, and serves as the liaison for the Latin American and Caribbean Advisory Council.

 

Previously Wilson served as executive administrator and international delegations coordinator. Before coming to Notre Dame International, she was director of special projects and media relations for the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for the 60th Judicial Circuit of Indiana.

 

A native of Georgia, Wilson earned both her bachelor’s in philosophy and her master’s in nonprofit administration from the University of Notre Dame. She is a graduate of the Protocol School of Washington, and a member of Protocol and Diplomacy International - Protocol Officers Association.
