Director, Faculty Development and Global Gateways
My role: I advise with regard to the Oxford Program, the London Undergraduate Program, the Kennedy Scholars Research Seminar, and the Global Collaboration Initiative Grants. I am a member of the Global Gateway Committee and the London Global Gateway Committee.
Why I find my work important: A university is a joyous environment. International education extends imagination as to what the world is and who one is within it.
Professional background: I received my bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology, from University College Dublin in Ireland and earned my Ph.D. in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Victoria in Canada. I have practiced as a clinical psychologist in Ireland, Connecticut, Michigan, and Indiana. In 2006, I transitioned into international education at Notre Dame. I was also a founding member of a Rape Crisis Center in Ireland.
My favorite place: Ireland, and my “secret garden”.
