Kailey Preston

Assistant Director, Global Engagement Programs

South Bend

As Assistant Director of Global Engagement Programs, Kailey manages several short-term, non-degree summer programs at the University, including iLED, iSURE, and other customized programs. In this role, she provides curricular and logistical oversight for these transformative and innovative learning experiences, helping international students temporarily call Notre Dame their "home under the Dome." Additionally, as a Term Assistant Teaching Professor in the First Year of Studies, Kailey teaches a discussion-based seminar for Notre Dame freshmen in the Moreau First Year Experience program.

Kailey earned a Masters in Linguistics from Purdue University focusing on foreign language education and second language acquisition. She also holds a Bachelors in Psychology and German Studies from Creighton University, where she had her first international experience as a study abroad student in Berlin, Germany. Prior to coming to Notre Dame in 2022, Kailey held teaching positions at Purdue University and at the University of Freiburg in Freiburg, Germany.
