Leigh McKane

Leigh McKane, a Dublin native, has been working at O’Connell House since the Spring of 2022. Leigh studied Graphic Design at the Technical University of Dublin and is an avid artist with skills in painting, hand-drawn animation, and digital arts.

In her role as Front of House Coordinator, Leigh ensures the smooth running of O’Connell House. Leigh works with the Gateway events and facilities team managing building maintenance, security, health & safety, internal and external events. The first point of contact for all staff, students and visitors, Leigh is always ready to offer a historical tour of O’Connell House, a cup of Irish tea and a warm welcome.

Before joining the Dublin Global Gateway, Leigh worked in the healthcare industry as a front desk receptionist and administrative assistant in a nursing home and as a home carer for the elderly.

In Leigh's spare time, she enjoys visiting museums, being creative and exploring the Irish outdoors with her partner in crime and pet dog, Bowser.
