Matt Chiaverini

Matt Chiaverini currently serves as Assistant Rector of Conway Hall at the London Global Gateway. He works on a daily basis to not only provide a safe a supportive community for students, but also to provide valuable programming to contribute positively to each student’s study abroad experience. He encourages all students to truly immerse themselves into London and to always venture off the beaten path.

Chiaverini has previously worked at the University of Texas coordinating direct international exchange programs with foreign universities throughout Europe mainly in Spain and France. Chiaverini then worked as Resident Director at the University of New Haven’s campus in Tuscany, Italy. After moving to London in 2016, he worked as Residence Life Manager at the Foundation for International Education where he supervised a team of thirteen live-in professionals.

Chiaverini grew up right outside of New York City in Westchester County, New York. He earned his B.A. in Psychology at The State University of New York at Albany and his M.S. in Guidance and Counseling at The College of New Rochelle. Chiaverini has lived in several countries including England, Spain, Italy and South Korea. In his spare time he enjoys exploring London, reading, weightlifting and most importantly traveling!
