Why did you opt to serve as a Senior Fellow for Internationalization?

I chose to serve as a Senior Fellow for Internationalization because I believe that Notre Dame’s international community is one of the most important aspects of who we are as a university and I want to do all I can to assist in creating and maintain that community.

Talk about your international experiences and why they are important. How have they served you (academically, personally, professionally, etc).

Traveling internationally and discussing global perspectives with my friends from around the world has allowed me to become a more well rounded individual; helping me realize that just because life is one way in your part of the world, doesn’t mean it has to be that way.

Why do you think it's important to focus on internationalization at the University of Notre Dame?

Internationalization is an important focus at Notre Dame because we are truly a global campus. When you study at Notre Dame, you’re not really just studying in Indiana; you’re engaging with cultures from around the world in the classroom and out of the classroom. By focusing on the international aspects of our campus, we invite new perspectives into our every day lives, which lead to new opportunities as we go forward into the world after college.
