The Art of Advising - Art Law in Practice

-

Location: Fischer Hall, London

The Art of Advising - Art Law in Practice.  Where does it come from? Is it genuine? Is it looted?

The art world can appear to be a minefield for buyers and sellers alike. With the volume and value of art transactions increasing every year, having the right legal expertise is more important than ever, particularly when jurisdictional differences between France and the UK also come into play.

At this Franco-British Lawyers Society conference, experts from the UK and France will share their knowledge and experiences of working within the captivating art world. Expert panels will discuss the restitution of spoliated art-works as well as the issue of authenticity. The final session will address recent cases and developments.

This event is free and is accredited for 3 hours CPD points with the SRA, the Bar Standards Board and the Ecole de Formation du Barreau.
