RGG Research in Progress: Valadier's Rome: An Architect's Vision
RGG Research in Progress is an informal forum for the presentation and discussion of work in progress by faculty, visiting fellows, and graduate students associated with the Rome Global Gateway. It aims to foster local discussion on various research projects and interests.
Selena K. Anders, professor of the practice at the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture, will present her ongoing research on Giuseppe Valadier, prolific figure as an architect, urban planner, deisgner, writer, and professor of architectural theory at the Accademia di San Luca from 1781 until his death in 1839.
