Migrants and Refugees in the Americas: International Protection and Regional Responses

Migration has been a constant in the Americas. However, the region is currently facing the displacement of unprecedented numbers of people. This creates challenges for receiving countries, in terms of protection and in integrating these populations in the medium to long term. This presentation will review key regional migration challenges, as well as potential responses.
