Tuesday 19 November 5-7pm

As part of the 2019 Being Human Festival, and in conjunction with the University of Notre Dame (USA) in England, a series of new poems by Josephine Balmer, based on recently-excavated Roman writing tablets, will be performed by Notre Dame students in the Bloomberg Space at the London Mithraeum, 12, Walbrook, EC4N 8AA.

The evening will also offer an opportunity to visit the Mithraeum temple, as well as a short introductory talk by acclaimed scholar Dr Roger Tomlin who deciphered the tablets.

All are very welcome. The event is free but if you’d like to attend please do pre-book a place here.
