IEW Event: Spice It Up: Intro to Indian Dancing

Instructor Namrata Borah is a student enrolled in the ESTEEM program. She has a Masters Degree in Bio Science and Bio Informatics. Nam has been practicing Indian classical dance for 20 years, and represented her schools in numerous national events. In university she started an organization that promotes performing arts and hosted events with 3000+ people.She has also performed in musical performances, such as IUSB’s Chicago and other local dance events. This event is sponsored by RecSports.

This intro will consist of semi-classical and Bollywood combo dancing. Come with an open mind, and be prepared to have fun. The dancing will be barefoot, but wear comfy athletic clothes, such as yoga pants, etc. and bring water.
