Location: Coleman-Morse Center, first floor lounge (View on map.nd.edu)

How do we exercise solidarity with the people of Ukraine? Do you feel called more deeply into prayer? Join Campus Ministry onWednesday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Coleman-Morse first floor lounge to reflect on these questions. Fr. Yury P. Avvakumov, Associate Professor in the History of Christianity, will share his background and connection to Ukraine, what is happening in this war, and our response as Catholics. Dr. Margie Pfeil, Associate Teaching Professor in the Theology Department and Center for Social Concerns, will reflect on the Catholic response to war from the perspective of Catholic Social Tradition. After taking time for questions, we will pray together for peace in Ukraine and in the entire world.

This event is co-sponsored by the Theology Department and the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies.
