Antonella Piccinin is serving as Assistant Rector at the Villa. She is involved in different educational aspects: from personal relationships with students, administrational duties, to spiritual life. Her main responsibility is – jointly with the Rector and the RGG’s team – to promote the wellbeing of students in their period abroad, in accordance with the Notre Dame spirit.
Antonella has earned her PhD in Political Theory at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome (2017), where she was particularly interested in the relationship between religion and politics: she has written her dissertation on an analysis of the role of the Church in the public-political sphere through an interdisciplinary approach that combines Political Theology with Political Theory.
She graduated in Law from LUISS Guido Carli in 2010. Subsequently, she attended a LLM by research (Master of Laws) at the University of Edinburgh (2013). She also decided to pursue her studies in Philosophy and Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University (2012-2017), where she is working as Teaching Assistant for the Faith and Culture “Alberto Hurtado” Center.
