Notre Dame International’s study abroad photo contest is now accepting submissions for the 2019 cycle. Undergraduate students are encouraged to share their study abroad experiences and stories through engaging and inspiring photos. The top five submissions will receive a cash prize.

Photos submitted should capture the heart of the study abroad experience and highlight the student’s ability to become a stronger and more informed global citizen. While artistic quality and unique perspectives are important, submissions should also illustrate at least one of three themes: academic growth, intercultural competency, and personal development. To assist in the quality of photos, Notre Dame International has provided photo composition guidelines and tips from professionals.

Submissions for the photo contest are due January 31, 2020. Students may submit a maximum of five photos from their time abroad in 2019 (calendar year – spring/summer/fall). The submissions will be judged on creativity, technical, artistic merit, and ability to incorporate one of the three new themes.

Submission guidelines and instructions can be found on the study abroad website. For any other questions, contact Dyann Mawhorr.
