Notre Dame International is pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 photo and video contest! Cash prizes were given to the three winners in the photography category, and two in video. There were also two honorable mentions for photography.
"We were happy to have received 12 video and nearly 600 photo submissions this year," said Joya Helmuth, communications director of Notre Dame International. "Our selection committee, which included three members of our study abroad team as well as University photographer Matt Cashore, had fun going through all of the entries. In the end, we felt that the winning photos and videos told great stories about the student experience abroad."
The winners are:
First place: Michael McRoskey, Greece (photo at right)
Second place: Laura Gruszka, Morocco
