Author: Colleen Wilcox

Students from the Chinese Culture Society organized a special event to celebrate the Chinese New Year on February 8, 2019. At the North and South Dining Halls on campus, all students were invited to celebrate the year of the pig with festive decorations and traditional Asian cuisine. The menu included items like Yuxian shredded pork, Chinese cabbage dumplings, and steamed bun with custard and egg yolk filling.

Chinese Culture Society President Attina Zhang encourages all students to learn more about the Chinese traditions. She recruited a few Chinese Culture Society members to help break down the top three things that everyone needs to know about Chinese New Year traditions.
