The University of Notre Dame provides a secure system for students, faculty, and staff to register travel plans and contact information. The registry is a convenient, one-stop service that provides travelers with alerts to keep them informed of health, safety and security issues while abroad and supports emergency communications and access to University emergency assistance services. It is important and required to register international travel in NDG's Travel Registry so that NDG has information about your trip and can contact you in the event of an emergency to assist you as early as possible.
Who is required to register travel?
All students, faculty, and staff are required to register University-related international travel according to the International Travel Protocol.
- All NDG Study Abroad program participants are automatically registered in NDG’s myNDabroad system, so they DO NOT need to submit a travel registration.
- All travel registrations must be submitted three to four weeks before departure AND finalized two weeks before departure.
- High risk travel requests should be submitted as close to eight weeks prior to departure as possible. These requests are required to be reviewed by the appropriate Travel Review Committee.
