UK threat level raised to critical on May 23, 2017:
On May 23, 2017, the United Kingdom raised its threat level to critical in response to the May 22 terrorist attack at a concert in Manchester, England. Specific information about threat levels is available on the MI5 website.
NDI continues to rigorously monitor world events, and urges all travelers abroad to take proactive safety measures and access the University’s resources for responding to disruptive or unsafe situations. We continue to request that all students register their personal travel online. Europe Travel Alert issued May 1, 2017:
The U.S. Department of State has released a travel alert for Europe. In recent years a European travel alert has appeared consistently around high peak travel times. All undergraduate students are advised to register their travel in Europe as a non-travel alert location; NDI continues to rigorously monitor world events and urges all travelers abroad to take proactive safety measures and access the University’s resources for responding to disruptive or unsafe situations.
