IEW Event: Ready to Go Further?

-

Location: Morris Inn, Salon B

Diverse perspectives to consider as you prepare to study abroad

Studying abroad is an exciting and enriching experience! It can also be challenging to enter into a culture different than your own, especially in regard to your individual identities and how they will be supported or challenged while abroad. As you prepare to study abroad, join us for a panel with study abroad returnees as they share their international experiences with us and their identities as:

  • students with disabilities
  • first-generation college students
  • high financial need / students on a budget
  • students of color
  • LGBTQ+
  • Heritage seeking / international students

This is a safe space and open to all students regardless of whether you identify directly with any of the topics discussed.

This event is open to undergraduate students who are studying abroad in Spring 2020. If you are interested in attending this event, please check with your program director for a registration link.
