A Conversation with Catherine Arnold, OBE, Master of St. Edmund's College, Cambridge

Notre Dame International, St. Edmund's College, and the Von Hügel Institute invite all members of the Notre Dame community and friends of the University to a conversation featuring Catherine Arnold, OBE, Master of St. Edmund's College.

Catherine Arnold is a former UK Ambassador and currently Master of St Edmund’s College, part of the University of Cambridge. Catherine has served as a diplomat in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Oman and, most recently Mongolia. Throughout a varied career, which saw Catherine write a guide book to Baghdad after leaving a job in finance, Catherine’s personal interest has been in the role of religion in diplomacy and international affairs. She has degrees in Theology and Religious Conflict from Cambridge and Nottingham Universities. Since becoming Master of St Edmund’s College in 2019, Catherine has spent more time reflecting on the role of educational institutions in shaping ethical, global leaders. She looks forward to discussing this with Dr. Michael Pippenger .

The talk will be from 5:00 - 6:15pm with a reception afterwards from 6:15 - 7:00pm.
