In the summer of 2015, Emily Campagna interned at Oracle Japan, handling a variety of responsibilities, including competitor analysis, mid-market analysis to help find new clients, and research to improve the company’s employee culture.
“This internship has provided me the chance to kind of see what careers are available, and I think it’s going to help my (post-graduation) decision process immensely,” said Campagna, a junior majoring in accounting, music, and Japanese.
Sponsored by Notre Dame’s Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies, the Oracle Japan Summer Internship program supports successful applicants in a project-based internship experience at the Tokyo offices of Oracle, a world-leader in cloud computing and software services.
“It’s really through actually doing the work and actually dealing with real companies and real people that you understand what it’s like,” said Campagna.
