The University of Notre Dame and Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) are launching three programs that expand the existing academic, religious, and cultural partnerships between the two universities. These programs are listed below.
- Faculty from Notre Dame may apply to both the University of Notre Dame-Ukrainian Catholic University Faculty Collaboration Grant Program and the University of Notre Dame-Ukrainian Catholic University Curriculum/Course Development Grants.
- Faculty from UCU may apply to all three grants; the University of Notre Dame- Ukrainian Catholic University Faculty Collaboration Grant Program, the University of Notre Dame-Ukrainian Catholic University Curriculum/Course Development Grants and the University of Notre Dame-Ukrainian Catholic University Library Guest Scholars program.
University of Notre Dame–Ukrainian Catholic University Faculty Collaboration Grant Program
Through this jointly advertised program both institutions are inviting proposals for joint faculty research projects with the potential to both achieve international recognition and to generate sustainable research projects for both institutions. Project selection for the Faculty Collaboration Grant Program will be competitive and made jointly by ND and UCU.
University of Notre Dame-Ukrainian Catholic University Curriculum/Course Development Grants
Through this jointly advertised program proposals are invited for curriculum or course development at UCU with the potential to either significantly augment a specific curriculum/program at UCU or develop a new UCU course. Grant selection for the ND-UCU Curriculum/Course Development Grants will be competitive and made jointly by ND and UCU.
University of Notre Dame–Ukrainian Catholic University Library Guest Scholars
Proposals are invited from faculty at UCU with a specific research project that may benefit from a semester access to the on-line library collection at Notre Dame. Selection for the ND-UCU Library Guest Scholars program will be competitive and made jointly by ND and UCU.
