Notre Dame Global's Global Day of Action is part of a week-long festival every year, celebrating Earth Week in partnership with the Office of Sustainability. Members of the Notre Dame global community are asked to respond to Laudato Si's call to action regarding the global challenges of climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and ecological sustainability.
NDG encourages students, staff, faculty, and alumni of its worldwide community to participate in a Global Day of Action event. Those who choose to participate are asked to host a gathering such as a service project, a conversation, a nature walk or a reading group in their area. They are also asked to share photos and videos on social media using the hashtags #NDEarthWeek and #NDIGlobalDayofAction.
