Costanza Montanari

Costanza Montanari joined Notre Dame in 2014 and serves as the assistant director for communications at the Rome Global Gateway. In this role she coordinates communication and public relations needs at the Gateway working across all departments to promote RGG initiatives, publicize conferences and events, and advance the academic reputation of the University of Notre Dame. She also proposes and produces new content for website, newsletter and other media outlets and enhances and promotes RGG profile through coordinated and strategic use of social media platforms.

Prior to coming to Notre Dame, Montanari worked as a freelance translator and interpreter, and in external communications of international institutions including the U.S. Embassy to Italy.

Montanari graduated with a degree in translation and interpreting in English, Italian and Spanish in Rome and obtained an M.A. in interpreting at the London Metropolitan University. She also holds a II level master in press office and public relations management from Luiss Business School.
