Academic Support Assistant
Kendal Jones joined the London Global Gateway in 2018 as an Academic Support Assistant. Jones serves as first point of contact for students in all programs, including responding to their inquiries regarding academic matters and general queries about matters relating to London life. She supports faculty and staff on all academic programs, as well as providing Personal Assistant support for the Executive Director of the London Gateway, the Academic Director of the London Undergraduate Program and the Academic Director of the London Law Program.
Prior to joining the University of Notre Dame, Jones worked in various roles in the education sector in the UK and in Spain, and is a qualified teacher in primary education. Most recently she was appointed as a teacher and eco coordinator at a London primary school, and provided training and mentoring to undergraduate teaching students.
Jones earned a BA degree in Archaeology and Art History from the University of Manchester. She also has a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Roehampton, and a Diploma in Higher Education in International Business and Japanese from the University of Central Lancashire. She has a range of interests, but can mostly be found in the gym, exploring the British countryside, or with her nose in a book.
